Licence notice for RxNorm data

This software supports the full monthly RxNorm release but does not distribute RxNorm data or grant a UMLS licence. Operators must obtain and maintain their own free UMLS Terminology Services licence and comply with its annual reporting and source-specific restrictions.

RxNorm normalized names and RxCUIs created by the U.S. National Library of Medicine are public domain U.S. Government works. The full release also contains government-created and proprietary source vocabulary names and codes governed by the UMLS Metathesaurus licence and its Source Restriction Levels. Operators are responsible for determining whether additional permission from individual source providers is required for their use or hosted service.
